Join us as author & historian, John Pagano, discusses the pivotal role Chesterfield Courthouse played in organizing troops and supplies for the Southern Department of the Continental Army for Generals Gates and Greene. He will also explain how becoming a military base of operations made the location a target of the Crown’s forces and will examine the military actions that swept through and devastated Chesterfield County in April and May 1781.
