Colonial Living History: Rescheduled for Feb 22nd!

Times were tense, tensions ran high, and the men of the colonies who labeled themselves as “Patriots” were preparing for inevitable conflict with the Crown.
The Virginia Line Living History detachment will commemorate the muster and training of the Militia of Hanover County, under the command of esteemed Captain Patrick Henry, in preparation for the dark winds of war blowing across the colonies in 1775.
Come learn how these citizen soldiers from Hanover County lived during muster, what they wore, what they ate, and how they prepared for the coming fight.
