Hanover Tavern is creating a beautiful, inviting year-round outdoor space – the Patio Possibilities Project!

The reimagined patio includes an expanded footprint, allowing for more seating and greater flexibility for events and programs. Two lighted pergolas will provide shade and define the patio as a functional gathering spot at the Tavern. The new patio will have a stone fire pit with bench seating. All new Polywood tables and chairs in varying heights and set-ups will provide comfortable dining space on the patio, on the Coach House porch, and under the North-end overhang. In addition, benches and rocking chairs will be added so guests can sit comfortably while waiting for members of their party, during event intermissions, or while just hanging out with friends.

Purchase a Custom Brick ($100): Become a permanent part of the Tavern by purchasing a custom brick to celebrate an occasion, memorialize a loved one, or as a one-of-a-kind gift for someone special! Sponsor a Barrel Planter ($100): There will be multiple whiskey barrel planters around the new patio, seasonally stocked with beautiful plants & flowers.

Sponsor a Bench ($250): Two new benches at our forecourt and two alongside the fire pit will provide the perfect place for guests to appreciate the grounds while waiting on their party or for enjoying a couple’s moment.

Sponsor a Rocking Chair ($500): Rocking chairs are a new addition to the Hanover Tavern patio space and will provide a relaxing way to enjoy the outdoors.

Sponsor the Fire Pit ($10,000): The new 4-foot stone gas fire pit will provide warmth during cooler weather and bring a cozy ambiance to the patio.

Sponsor the Lawn Stage ($12,500): The addition of an 8’x12′ “stage” at the rear of the lawn will allow our brides & grooms a sturdy, level spot to take their vows, as well as a platform for live music and other activities.

Sponsor a Pergola ($15,000): The two new 9’x17′ lighted pergolas have been carefully designed to provide a maximum amount of shade during peak sun times throughout the day and the various seasons of the year. They will also offer outlets for outdoor guests to charge their phones or for DJs to set up in the perfect spot for patio receptions.

All donors will be invited to the Grand Opening Patio Party and be recognized on a permanent placard!
