Author of the 5-book series on the Overland Campaign and well-known Civil War historian, Gordon C. Rhea, will guide this bus tour through the final days of the Overland Campaign. Beginning at Cold Harbor, the tour will follow the disengagement, screenings, probes, and skirmishing as the Union Army attempts to cross the James River. Learn about Confederate counteractions to the Union landings at CityPoint and their aggressive movements toward Petersburg. This is the beginning of the end!
