Enjoy a one-of-a-kind, once-a-year intimate fundraising event at The Shelton Supper!
Immerse yourself in an evening at Hanover Tavern during its Colonial period with a five-course supper in a most historic location.
This candlelight supper is served in the historic Hanover Tavern Cage Bar and features exquisite recipes from the personal 1744 cookbook of Eleanor Parks Shelton, wife of Tavern owner John Shelton –the future parents-in-law of Founding Father Patrick Henry. Each course will be accompanied by period ales, wines & liquors, all set to the strings of a violin playing Colonial-era music. The Shelton Supper is the premier fundraising dinner held at Hanover Tavern. Period attire is welcomed but not required.
